Work is going on for version 1.1.


I never intended to develop Monoyellow Madness further beyond release 1.0, but I guess anything can happen.

Major focus of update are items - rewards for doing stuff and beating records of various type in game. Nothing complicated, you get them after finishing run and can manage them in new option in main menu. There are nine items in total, including marker pen shown on screenshot - very useful to avoid getting lost.

It is intended to convince player to play more than once. It is important, as many features, patterns, themes and geometry of generated level 0 activate only after certain milestones are passed (like for example at least certain amount of degeneration reached in previous runs or at least that many runs done).

Items are actually finished now! Currently I work on various smaller details and stuff like "lets add one more hallucination, some new geometry etc". It will take a while, but look forward to version 1.1.
